MJ Akbar resigns from his post of Minister of State External Affairs MEA
Union Minister MJ Akbar has resigned from his post of Minister of State External Affairs MEA on Wednesday. MJ Akbar has resigned from his post in the wake of #MeToo.

Akbar was accused of sexual harassment by many senior journalists when he was the Editor of a newspaper. Nearly 15 women accused him of sexual harassment.

Akbar filed a criminal defamation case against Priya Ramani on Monday as she accused him of sexual harassment.
