Modi to launch 15,000 crore NH project in Rajasthan on Aug 29

15,000 crore project in Rajasthan: National Highway project in Rajasthan will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on August 29. Modi will lay foundation of the 15,000 crore project in Rajasthan. The project will be started in order to complete 11 national highways with a length of about 873 km. "The prime minister is scheduled to visit Udaipur on August 29... The PM will inaugurate and do bhoomi poojan for NH projects worth Rs 15,000 crore in Rajasthan... He will dedicate to the nation 11 completed National Highway projects totaling a length of about 873 km," the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways said. The 11 projects include a 6-lane Cable Stayed Bridge across river Chambal at Kota. These are at Rajsamand, Bhilwara, Pali, Nagaur, Barmer, Sikar, Churu, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer and Barmer. In addition, he will also perform Bhoomi Poojan for six NH projects of about 556 km, the statement said.
