In a suspected case of hate crime, a 23-year-old youth from Bukkanwala village in Moga district, Punjab, was allegedly murdered with sharp-edged weapons at Truro town in New Scotia province of Canada on September 7. The incident was confirmed by the deputy chief of the Truro Police Service Robert Hearn. The body of the Punjabi-origin youth was found at a Robie Street apartment building in Truro town. He, however, refused to divulge more details about the youth.
