Mohali building collapse: A three-storey building collapsed near Kharar Landran road in Mohali on Saturday. Two people have been rescued while 6-7 people are feared trapped under the debris. No casualties have been reported so far. The rescue operation is still underway where National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) team has been deployed. publive-image Himanshu Jain, Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Mohali said in a statement that "Two persons have been rescued. 6-7 persons still feared trapped under the debris. A JCB machine was trappped under the debris while some of the labourers were rescued. The NDRF team and other support staff are carrying out search and rescue operation. According to the information, the building collapsed while a basement was being dug up near the gate of JTPL city.
