Mortal remains of Captain Inderjeet Singh cremated in Ambala

The mortal remains of Captain Inderjeet Singh of 22 Batallion  Mahar Regiment were cremated with full military honours at Babyal cremation ground, Ambala, on Wednesday. Captain Inderjeet Singh, aged 32, years was martyred in Arunachal Pardesh while he was deployed in high altitude area.

Mortal remains of the martyr were brought to Ambala last night. GOC PH & HP (1) Sub Area laid a wreath as a mark of respect to the martyred soldier. Wreaths were also placed on behalf of COAS, Army Commander, Western Command, and Corps Commander, Kharga Corps.

Son of late Sub Joginder Singh (retd), the officer is survived by his wife, Smt Harmeet Kaur, and six-year-old son Ishmeet Singh.
