Mother and daughter dies in road accident in Batala
A 5 year old girl and her mother were killed and two got injured after their car, in which they were travelling in, rammed into a tipper truck near Ghuman Khurd village on the Batala national highway.

The deceased have been identified as Anmol and his mother Navneet Kaur while the injured are Harnek Singh. Police say the accident took place in morning when they were heading back to home from Ambala after attending a wedding function.

The police have registered a case under sections 304A , 337 338 and 427 of Indian Penal Code (IPC) against the truck driver. The autopsy of the deceased will be conducted on Thursday.
