Mother of PM Narendra Modi casts her vote in Ahmedabad Mother of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Heeraban Modi, exercised her Right to Vote at a polling station in Ahmedabad on Tuesday. She arrived at the polling booth in Raisan area in a car. People assisted her inside the booth. Earlier in the day, Prime Minister and BJP President Amit Shah cast their votes at a polling booth in Nishan Higher Secondary School in Ranip area in Ahmedabad.

Voting is underway for 26 seats in Gujarat, 20 in Kerala, 4 seats in Assam, 5 in Bihar, 7 in Chhattisgarh, 14 each in Karnataka and Maharashtra, 6 in Odisha, 10 in Uttar Pradesh, 5 in West Bengal, 2 in Goa, and 1 each in Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu and Tripura.
