West Indies all-rounder Dwayne Bravo said that veteran Indian wicket-keeper MS Dhoni will play the 2020 T20 World Cup, which is scheduled to be held in Australia. Bravo stated that MS Dhoni never announced his retirement and hence, the 38-year-old will be a part of Indian side in the T20 World Cup in 2020.
Bravo and Dhoni has shared the dressing room for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) for many years. Meanwhile, all-rounder Dwayne Bravo on Friday announced his comeback to international cricket making himself available for the T20I side in West Indies.
Earlier, Dwayne Bravo announced retirement from international cricket in 2018. He said that he wants to help West Indies get back to its best under the leadership of Kieron Pollard and is now looking forward to be a part of the team in future.
MS Dhoni took break from cricket since the conclusion of ICC World Cup 2019. Afterwards, there was no announcement about Maahi donning the Indian jersey again. Meanwhile, Dwayne Bravo also said that “If seniors like Andre Russell, Sunil Narine and I can return to the squad, we can be world-beaters again.”
The seventh ICC T20 World Cup will be held in Australia from October 18 to November 15, 2020. The final will be played at Melbourne Cricket Ground on November 15, 2020.
