Mumbai drugs case: Aryan Khan likely to be out of jail by October 29 evening
Mumbai drugs case: Advocate Satish Maneshinde, who is representing Aryan Khan in the Mumbai drugs case, on Friday said he would be out of jail by October 29 evening. As soon as we get the orders, we will produce it under the the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act for completing other formalities and get release orders for Aryan Khan." The Bombay High Court on October 28 granted bail to Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha after hearing their bail pleas in the Mumbai drugs case. While Arbaaz Merchant is also lodged at Arthur Road jail, Munmun Dhamecha is at Byculla women prison. Aryan Khan was arrested on October 3. An NCB team busted an alleged drugs party on the Cordelia Cruise ship, which was on its way to Goa on October 2. A total of 20 persons were arrested in the case. Shah Rukh Khan (55) had tears of joy when he heard the news of his son's bail, said senior counsel Mukul Rohatgi. Rohatgi said Shah Rukh even made notes to assist the legal team. The detailed order of the Bombay High Court will be released on Friday. -PTC News
