Mumbai: NIA nabs 2 persons with fake notes of Rs 2000 Two persons were nabbed with fake currency notes by the National Investigation Agency on Saturday from Andheri, Mumbai. They were carrying 48 fake currency notes of Rs 2000 denomination with a face value of Rs 96,000. Also Read: No criminal action against holding old of Rs 500, 1000 notes The two persons were identified as Saddam Salim Hawaldar resident of Sakinaka and Fahad Naushad Chandiwala resident of Santacruz. The National Investigation Agency got a tip-off that both of them would be traveling to Marol to carry out transactions with the fake currency notes. Acting on the tip off, the NIA team arrested the duo and recovered 48 fake currency notes of Rs 2000.
