Three persons died after the car in which they were travelling in rammed into divider on Nabha – Bhadson road near Patiala, police said on Wednesday.

The deceased include a man, his wife and their daughter, police officials said. The deceased , residents of Village Beembad in Sangrur district were heading back to home after attending a marriage ceremony.

According to police officials, there is speculation of the man being under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident.
