PM Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping hold delegation-level talks Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping are set to hold a series of informal meetings over April 27 and 28 in Wuhan city, where the one-on-one conversations will focus on global, regional and bilateral issues. I hope such informal summits becomes a tradition between both the countries. I'll be happy, if in 2019, we can have such informal summit in India: Prime Minister Narendra Modi. We(India-China) have the responsibility to work for 40% of the world population, this means trying to successfully get the world rid of many problems. To work together towards this is a big opportunity for us: PM Modi The people of India feel really proud that I'm the first Prime Minister of India, for whom, you (Chinese President) have come out of the capital twice to receive me: Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Wuhan. “This is possibly for the first time that you have met a country’s leader twice outside the capital, Beijing. This is a sign of the importance that you accord to India as a country,” PM Modi tells President Xi Jinping at a delegation-level talk.
