Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday assured support to Assam in dealing with the flood. Expressing his concern and solidarity with the people, the PM assured all support to the state." As per the report, as many as 81 people died after drowning in floodwaters while 26 others died in landslide incidents in the state.
