PM Modi made it clear that lockdown won't be lifted in one go on April 14: Pinaki Misra

Biju Janata Dal leader Pinaki Misra on Wednesday stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made it clear that the nationwide lockdown won't be lifted in a one go on April 14. Pinaki Misra told news agency PTI that the Prime Minister mentioned during the meeting that the life of pre-corona and post-corona would not be the same. Earlier on Wednesday, PM Narendra Modi conducted a meeting with Parliamentary floor leaders of different parties through video conferencing from his official residence, i.e. 7, Lok Kalyan Marg. Misra was also present during the meeting, which was held at 11 am. Another leader, who attended the meeting, said that the Prime Minister mentioned during the meeting said that he will also consult chief ministers. Meanwhile, Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury said that his party had recommended some suggestions, such as exempting farmers from lockdown for the harvesting of Rabi crops and withdrawal of all taxes on fertilisers.
