Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope, on oxygen tanker leak, said that "Due to the valves leakage of the tanker in Nashik, there was massive Oxygen leakage. There must definitely have been an impact on the hospital it was going to but I'm yet to gather more information."
Likewise, FDA Minister Dr Rajendra Shingane said that it was an unfortunate incident. "We're trying to get a detailed report. We've ordered an inquiry as well. Those who are responsible will not be spared."

Meanwhile, Former Maharashtra CM and BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis said that "What happened in Nashik was terrible. It's being said that COVID-19 patients died at Zakir Hussain hospital which was very disturbing. I demand that the other patients be helped and shifted if needed. We demand a detailed inquiry."
Union Home Minister Amit Shah condoles loss of life in the Nashik oxygen tanker leak incident.
He said: "Distressed to hear the news of the accident. I express my deepest condolences to the families who have lost their loved ones in this incident."
