Weather update: Northern regions brace for cold waves as downpour expected to follow from December 9
PTC News Desk: The India Meteorological Department has predicted Light to average downpours in Punjab, Haryana and Delhi-NCR. Northern regions are to brace for cold waves as dense fog is also likely to blanket areas.
The weather department has warned that a fresh western disturbance is likely to result in rain and snow at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh on Sunday and Monday. A yellow alert has been issued for thunderstorms and lightning in several party of the state.
The weather system is likely to bring fluctuations in weather owing to the active western disturbances.
The temperature in national capital is likely to vary from 8 degrees Celsius and 24 degrees Celsius. Shallow fog is likely to be there in the morning and mist may be in the evening.
