WATCH | Cop accidentally lathi charges SDM during Bharat Bandh
PTC News Desk: A policeman accidentally hit Patna SDM Shrikant Kundlik Khandekar during a lathi-charge on supporters of Bharat Bandh on Wednesday. The video of the incident has gone viral.
The viral video shows the policeman accidentally hitting Khandekar, who was in civil dress, with a stick. While the SDM is taken aback, the erring officer is taken away by his colleagues, who inform him of the mistake.
The policeman then moves towards the SDM and apologises for the mistake.
The two are then seen having a conversation.

The incident took place at Bihar's bustling Dak Bangla Square. After breaking down barricades at the JP Golambar intersection, protestors marched to Dak Bangla, where security personnel used a lathi charge to control the situation.
Water cannons were also used to disperse the protesters.
