Woman dies after lift cable snaps in UP's Noida society
PTC News Desk: A woman was killed after the cable of a lift snapped, resulting in a free fall between floors at a housing complex in Uttar Pradesh's Noida
The woman was alone in the lift when the incident took place.
"Today, a woman going in the lift fainted due to the breaking of the lift wire of Paras Tierra Society under Police Station Sector 142 area. The woman was alone in the lift. She was admitted to Felix Hospital but died during treatment,'' the police said on Thursday.
The woman was rushed to the hospital for treatment after the incident and died during treatment.
Further investigation is underway.
