Navjot Sidhu's close associate Rajiv Babba arrested by CIA
Navjot Singh Sidhu's close associate Rajiv Babba was arrested by Central Intelligence Agency, here on Tuesday. Earlier on Friday, the police nabbed a person with 391 boxes of illicit whisky. Who was identified as Baldev Singh, alias Nikka, of Mucchal village. As per information he was a member of a gang being operated by Rajiv Kumar, alias Babba, of New Tehsilpura and Saadi Lal of Mohalla Tandooran Wala. ASI Kulwinder Singh of the CIA staff said the accused used to bringing whisky from other states to sell in Punjab. A police team along with excise officials intercepted a mini truck for checking. As many as 61 boxes of Royal Stag, 11 boxes of RC, 76 boxes of Imperial Blue and 243 boxes of Raj Dhani Whisky were found in the vehicle. A case has been registered against the accused.
