Nirbhaya Case: Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has slammed the senior advocate, Indira Jaising for requesting Asha Devi, mother of 2012 rape and murder case victim, to forgive the convicts. While slamming the veteran lawyer, Kangana said that Indira Jaising should be kept in jail with those convicts for four days. Furthermore, she said that such women give birth to such monsters.

“That lady (Jaising) should be kept in jail with those convicts for four days. Women like them give birth to these kind of monsters and murderers,” Kangana told media persons during an event.

Jaising has been slammed after she had tweeted stating that just like Sonia Gandhi forgave Nalini, Nirbhaya’s mother should forgive convicts.

Asha Devi, had said that “Till now, I never talked about politics, but now I want to say that those people who held protests on streets in 2012, today the same people are only playing with my daughter’s death for political gains.”

Taking her statement, Indira Jaising took to twitter and wrote: “While I fully identify with the pain of Asha Devi I urge her to follow the example of Sonia Gandhi who forgave Nalini and said she didn’t not want the death penalty for her. We are with you but against death penalty.”

Likewise, Asha Devi reacted to Indira Jaising’s statement. She said, “Who is Indira Jaising to give me such a suggestion? Whole country wants the convicts to be executed. Just because of people like her, justice is not done with rape victims.”
