Nitin Gadkari honours two brave Indian Army martyrs from Punjab in Mumbai
Two brave Indian Army martyrs from Punjab soil were among others who were honoured during an annual patriotism programme in Mumbai on Thursday night. The patriotism programme, “One for All, All for One,” was organized by Atharva Foundation at NSCI-Worli. It was organized to honour those brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the country.

Union minister Nitin Gadkari and Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis were the chief guests.
Atharva Foundation felicitated ten martyr’s families in the programme. The ten families included families of Lance Naik Sandeep Singh from Gurdaspur and Lieutenant Triveni Singh, Ashok Chakra (posthumous), from Pathankot.

The heroic stories of the honoured soldiers’ courage were narrated by Bollywood stars Raza Murad, Mahima Chaudhary, Gulshan Grover, Hema Malini, etc.

The other martyr’s include, Captain R Harshan (Ashok Chakra) from Thiruvananthapuram, Naik Gawade Pandurang Mahadev (Shaurya Chakra) from Sindhudurg, Maharashtra, Captain Neikezhakuo Kengurse, (Maha Vir Chakra) from Kohima, Major Udai Singh (SC, SM) from Noida, Naik Neeraj Kumar Singh (Ashok Chakra) from Bulandsahar, UP, Lieutenant Natarajan Parthiban (Kirti Chakra) from Chennai, were among others
