Odisha: Cyclonic Storm ‘Daye’ To Hit Road, Communication Channels
Odisha: India Meteorological Department (IMD) Bhubaneswar today issued a warning that Cyclonic storm 'Daye' is most likely to hit the road and other communication channels today in Odisha.
The IMD said that the thatched hut, roads, crops and power stations are in danger. The communication lines in Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati districts would be hit at large.

The IMD has advised the fishermen to not to go into the waters northwest Bay of Bengal and Odisha coast to catch fishes. The next 24 hours are extremely critical.
According to the reports by IMD, the cyclone storm is moving towards west-north-west direction and would cross the Odisha and adjoining north Andhra Pradesh coast.
