Oil-leak trick: Two motorcyclists steal Rs 16.5 lakh from Mercedes owner in Mohali

Two motorcyclists stole a briefcase containing Rs 16.30 lakh cash and documents from a mercedes car in Sector 61 on Friday. The bikers manipulated the driver and owner with the oil-leak trick. According to the information, the car belongs to money exhanger Sat Paul Bansal of Paul merchants. The sector 8 resident has reported the incident at the sector 36 police station. As per reports, it was the fourth incident for the oil-leak trick this month while no case has been solved by the police. The latter was on his way to his Phase VII branch in Mohali for inspection at around 11 pm. The mercedes driver stopped the car and stepped out to check it. There was a bit of oil spilled on the bonnet. The driver told Bansal about it and opened the bonnet to check. Afterwards, the thieves flee with his cash from the backseat. Meanwhile, Sector 36 station house officer (SHO) Ranjodh Singh was informed about the situation and he reached the spot with his team. The police has registered a case under sections 379 (theft) and 34 (common intent in crime) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). -PTC News
