One dies in road mishap in Amritsar
One person lost his life whereas several got injured in a road mishap, after an auto rickshaw, in which they were travelling in, rammed into a tipper truck near Lahori Mail area in Amritsar on Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as Seema Yadav who hailed from Pune , Maharashtra.The injured were rushed to civil hospital in Amritsar , where they are going under treatment.

The incident occurred near the Lahori Mail area. The occupants of the auto rickshaw were returning to Amritsar after watching the Beating Retreat ceremony at Attari- Wagah border.

Meanwhile, the police have registered a case under the sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) against the truck driver.
