Online training programme for cops on Child Rights & Protection begins
The community affairs division of the Punjab Police in association with the Bachpan Bachaho Andolan (NGO), organised an online training programme on Child Rights and Child Protection for cops investigating cases under the POCSO Act and responsible for implementation of provisions of the Juvenile Justice Act, 2015 to eradicate child labor, trafficking, domestic and sexual abuse from society.

A spokesperson said that around 200 police personnel from five districts will be trained in the first phase from September 16 to 30. A total of four workshops will be conducted by experts.
