Pakistan: Maryam Nawaz claims cameras were installed in her jail cell, bathroom
Chaudhary Sugar Mills case: In a bizarre claim, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) vice president Maryam Nawaz Sharif said that there was cameras installed while she was in a prison cell.
According to the report, the daughter of three-time former Pakistan prime minister Nawaz Sharif revealed about the difficulties she faced while she was imprisoned. She was arrested in the Chaudhary Sugar Mills case in 2019.

Maryam Nawaz Sharif said that she had have gone to jail twice.

Talking about how she was treated in jail being a woman, she said that Pakistan government would not have the audacity to show their faces.
Slamming Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government, the Maryam Nawaz Sharif said that no woman is safe in Pakistan.
Pakistan's leading Opposition leader suggested holding talks with the Army to reduce the prevailing political tension in the country. She also suggested to do it in front of people and not in secret.
"Army is my institution. We are ready to hold talks (with the Army) but only within the framework of the Constitution. And such talks will be held right before the eyes of the people. We will not hold any secret dialogue,” she said in an interview with BBC Urdu.
