Pakistan poll nominees seek blessings from Indian Sufi shrines Pakistan poll candidates are seeking 'blessings' from Sufi Shrines in India like Khawaja Gharib Nawaz in Ajmer. Pakistan national assembly Pakistan national assembly election is on July 25. Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz candidate from Sahiwal in Punjab province Syed Imran Shah Wali has vowed to pay his regards at the dargah if he wins. He has offered his prayers through his priest at Ajmer Dargah. He has also offered prayers through his priest at Ajmer Dargah. He visited the shrine back in 2013 as a Prime Minister and is planning to visit the dargah second time with his family. He said, " “My only wish and prayer is to see my party emerge as the single largest party in polls. Our party is committed to maintaining good relations with neighbours, especially India.” Syed Bilal Chishti, a khadim (priest) who has offered prayers for Pakistan political leaders at the dargah said that he has hundreds of request to offer prayers at the dargah. He also said, " Our prayers are with those parties who will walk the path of the Sufi saint and work for an egalitarian society.”   -PTC NEWS
