Pakistan: Sixteen dead, several injured in blast
A total of sixteen people were killed and 30 others were injured in a blast at Quetta's Hazarganji in Pakistan on Friday morning. The explosion took place in a vegetable market at around 7:35.

According to the media sources, an improvised explosive device (IED) was hidden in the market. It ripped through the Hazarganji sabzi mandi. Eight of the dead belonged to the Hazara community. Besides them, four police personnel were also among the injured.

Buildings located nearby were also damaged in the blast. The injured were rushed to Bolan Medical Complex. Treatment is underway.
