Pakistan government will now be applying a different set of charges upon Saeed as per sources.

Saeed was the mastermind  behind the 26-11 attacks in Mumbai. He has been on the global most wanted list of the United Nations as well as the United States of America.

While India had condemned Pakistan for releasing Saeed, the US Department of State too had issued a detailed statement expressing concern over Saeed's release.

A Pakistan court had freed Saeed from house arrest on November 24 due to lack of evidence.
