As 10 Pakistan cricketers test positive for COVID-19 ahead of England tour, Akash Chopra asks 2 questions

While Pakistan cricket team was preparing for the upcoming tour of England, the news of 10 players being tested positive for the novel coronavirus surfaced sending shockwaves across the globe. Shadab Khan, Haris Rauf and Haider Ali were the first ones to be tested positive for coronavirus. Day after Shadab, Haris and Haider, 7 more players — Fakhar Zaman, Imran Khan, Kashif Bhatti, Mohammad Hafeez, Mohammad Hasnain, Mohammad Rizwan and Wahab Riaz, were tested positive for coronavirus. While coronavirus has hit the cricket team, former India cricketer Aakash Chopra has two important questions. Aakash, who is an analyst of cricket, took to Twitter and wrote: "Total of 10 players tested positive for Covid_19. Wishing all of them a speedy recovery... Two questions beg to be asked— Will the tour to England go ahead at all? and 2. Where did so many players catch the virus from?"

Will the tour to England go ahead at all?

Pakistan was all set to leave for England on June 28. However, 10 of their players have to undergo isolation for 14 days, post which they will be tested again. If they test negative, they will be allowed to travel to England to join their teammates. Upon arrival, they will be required to isolate themselves before being allowed to join the team in training. Well, there are so many ifs and buts. However, Aakash isn't sure how the Pakistan tour of England will go ahead as per the schedule.
