Panjab University issues SOPs to conduct exams for exit classes from July

With increasing queries by final year students regarding semester exams, Panjab University has finalised standard operative procedures (SOPs) to conduct exams for exit classes from the month of July. He said that a maximum of 150 candidates will be allowed at each centre in one session and the duration for examination will be of 2 hours. He further added that "Not more than 15 candidates and an invigilator will be allowed in a room. No candidate living in red zones/containment zones will be allowed to appear in the exams as a separate arrangement will be made for them." The staffers, who will be on the examination duty, have been mandated to download the Arogya Setu app to check their coronavirus status. Meanwhile, the University has also made wearing of masks compulsory for teachers, staff and students. https://twitter.com/ANI/status/1266105183966121985?s=20 The examination halls will be sanitised to prevent the spread of coronavirus and the thermal screening of all the student will be conducted before entering the examination hall. Meanwhile, any student or staffer under quarantine or having symptoms of nCov will not be allowed to enter the examination centre.
