Parambans Romana says will take Congress and its mafias head-on as new YAD President
Newly appointed Youth Akali Dal (SAD) President Parambans Singh Romana on Monday said that he would go to the youth and expose the false promises of the Congress party and its mafias. He also said that he will work to strengthen the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) at the booth level in preparation for the 2022 assembly elections.
Thanking the party for reposing faith in him, the YAD president said that the youth were thoroughly disillusioned with the Congress party and its government which had deceived them with false promises.
“None of the promises made to the youth including ‘ghar ghar naukari’ and unemployment allowance of Rs 2,500 per month have been fulfilled. Punjab today is in the grip of various Congress mafias be it the liquor mafia or the sand mafia. Now the time has come to take ‘hisab’ from the government and the youth of Punjab will be in the vanguard of the movement to expose and topple the Congress government in 2022”.
Romana also said that Punjab needed a government which empathized with the problems of youth and worked to solve them. “Instead we have a government which is discriminating against youth and forcing them out of the State by refusing to provide any employment opportunities. We will take the Congress government head-on and force it to concede all the promises made to the youth or send it packing”, he added.
Crediting SAD President Sukhbir Singh Badal as his inspiration, Romana said that the SAD President was known for quick decision making and implementation which he would like to incorporate in the functioning of the YAD.

He said that he was also deeply influenced by the selfless service rendered by S Parkash Singh Badal and the ideals professed by Sardar Badal were dear to his heart.
