Chirpy beauty to a scary, frightening role, Anushka Sharma's Pari teaser unveiled
Pari teaser: Anushka Sharma in a love story or a horror story, yet to decide. The first teaser of Anushka Sharma’s Pari was unveiled late Tuesday. Unlike her chirpy, happy girl next door, Anushka Sharma is bringing something new to the audience.
Though the teaser isn’t much of a revelation after the first look, it gives us a scary peep into the upcoming film, Pari.
In the teaser, Anushka gets scarier with her face getting full of blood and marks by the minute.
Pari looks like a horror flick, though it was earlier speculated that it could be a psychological thriller.
Marked to hit theatres on March 2, Pari directed by Prosit Roy stars Parambrata Chatterjee and Rajat Kapoor. The film was earlier supposed to release on February 9.
After speculations of Sanjay Leela BHansali’s Padmavati releasing on January 25, Neeraj Pandey shifted his film from Republic Day release to February 9.
Pari is Anushka’s third production and is primarily a love story. The film is co-produced by Clean Slate Films and KriArj Entertainment.
After spending some time with Virart Kohli in South Africa, Anushka will now be back at work, shooting for Anand L Rai’s Zero that also stars Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif.
