Parkash Purb celebrations will be held on common stage: Akal Takht Jathedar
Punjab Cabinet ministers Sukhjinder Randhawa and Charanjeet Channi met Jathedar, Sri Akal Takht Sahib Giani Harpreet Singh to discuss common celebrations of the 550th Parkash Purb of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. During the meeting, it was left to Giani Harpreet Singh to ensure holding celebration of 550th birth anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji on a common stage. Addressing a press conference after the meeting, Giani Harpreet Singh said that the Punjab government has agreed to join celebrations of Parkash Purb and that programmes would now be held on a common stage. Expressing satisfaction over the development, he said Punjabis would finally be able to celebrate Parkash Purb together. -PTC News
