A passenger was detained at Terminal 3 of Indira Gandhi International Airport on Friday after he was found carrying a shirt fitted with a suspicious electric object in his handbag. An explosive test was then conducted, but the result came negative. A physical check was conducted later, revealing that there were four batteries attached inside the electric motor fitted to the shirt. https://twitter.com/ANI/status/921397477000884224 The passenger failed to provide a convincing reason after being questioned by CISF personnel and was then handed over to the police. As per reports, if the intent of carrying such an object is not revealed, there are high chances that terror mongers are trying to test whether explosive devices can pass through the security measures installed at airports. Last month, in a similar incident at Mangaluru Airport.  An Indigo flight had to be detained at the airport after detection of a suspicious object, which was later identified as a self-made power bank.
