Patiala House court quashes plea of Manjit Singh GK for cancelling FIR against him
The sessions court today quashed the plea of former Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) Chief Manjit Singh GK for cancelling FIR against him.

The court dismissed Manjit Singh GK’s petition seeking cancellation of an FIR lodged against him in a financial irregularities case.

Earlier, the court had put an interim stay on the registration of an FIR against DSGMC chief. The allegations were levelled by opposition leader, Gurmeet Singh Shanty and Paramjit Singh Sarna, former DSGMC chief for alleged financial irregularities in Gurudwara management committee.

The Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee president, Manjit Singh GK along with 15 executive members of DSGMC had resigned from their posts in a meeting of the executive committee on December 6.

The decision was taken by the committee to overcome the crisis after Gurmeet Singh Shanty and Paramjit Singh Sarna levelled allegations of corruption against them.
