PB cop Salwinder Singh convicted in Rape case; quantum of punishment on February 21
The Gurdaspur court has convicted former SP Salwinder Singh in a rape case. The quantum of punishment will be pronounced on February 21. He has been sent to jail.

Salwinder has been booked under Section 376 C (sexual intercourse by a person in authority who abuses his position to induce or seduce a woman) of IPC and other provisions of Prevention of Corruption Act.
