Polling in Punjab in the first two hours have been largely peaceful.
The polling percentages at the various constituencies are as follows:
- Polling percentage at Hoshiarpur is around 11% till 9 am.
- Around 10 % polling in Barnala district till 9 am.
- Around 11% polling in Jalandhar till 9 am.
- Total 8.84 % till 9 am in 8 Assembly constituencies of Faridkot PC.
- The Patiala Tentative Poll percentage are as follows:
Patiala Urban - 20%
Patiala Rural - 10. 70%
Nabha - 13.50%
Rajpura - 13%
Dera Bassi - 13%
Ghanaur - 13%
Sanour - 15 %
Samana - 12.90%
Shutrana - 22%
- At Gurdaspur, the voting percentage is 9.94% till 9 am.
- Around 5% voting percentage in Moga till 9 am.
