Petrol, Diesel Prices Hike Today: After a one-day hiatus, the petrol and diesel rates have been hiked again on Friday. Petrol has become costlier by 28-29 paise and diesel has been hiked by 34-35 paise across the country. The auto fuel prices have been raised for the eighth time this month. Likewise, a litre of petrol was available at Rs 92.44 in Kolkata and Rs 94.09 in Chennai and Rs 90.27 in Noida. Petrol, Diesel Prices Hike Today: After a one-day hiatus, the petrol and diesel rates have been hiked again on Friday. Likewise, the rates of diesel have also seen a sharp rise in the last few days. In Mumbai, the diesel price is being sold at Rs 90.11 while a litre of diesel is priced at Rs 82.95 in Delhi. It costs Rs 85.79 in Kolkata and Rs 87.81 in Chennai and Rs 83.41 in Noida. Fuel demand across the country has been dented as several states have imposed lockdown-like curbs to fight the second wave of coronavirus. In the last 10 days, the petrol price has been increased by Rs 1.79 per litre while diesel price has been raised by Rs 2.04 per litre.
