Petrol, Diesel prices in India rise for 12th consecutive day, check latest prices

Fuel price hike today: The Petrol and Diesel prices in India on Saturday increased for the 12th consecutive day burning a hole in the common man’s pocket even as the global oil market remained stable. The petrol and diesel are being sold in Delhi at Rs 90.58 per litre and Rs 80.97 per litre, respectively. The petrol and diesel prices in India have been witnessing a relentless hike. In Mumbai, petrol price is at an all-time high as it touched the Rs 97 per litre mark following a hike of 38 paise. Earlier on Friday, the petrol reached Rs 90-mark in Delhi after the oil marketing companies (OMCs) revised the rates of petrol by 31 paise and diesel by 33 paise per litre. The retail price of petrol has crossed Rs 100 a litre-mark in several states. These include Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. These states are having one of the highest levels of local levies on fuels in the country.
