Petrol, diesel prices rise for 9th consecutive day [Check latest prices]
Petrol and diesel prices hike in India today: The fuel rates in India hiked for the ninth consecutive day on Wednesday (February 17). As per the report, the petrol price on Wednesday increased by 23-25 paise per litre while diesel has gone up by 24-26 paise a litre. Details inside After today’s hike in Petrol and diesel prices in India, the petrol in the national capital increased to Rs 89.54 (25 paise increase) a litre while it was Rs 89.29 on Tuesday. On the other hand, the diesel price increased to Rs 79.95 per litre as compared to Rs 79.70 a litre on Tuesday. In Mumbai, the petrol rates touched the Rs 96 per litre mark, the highest price till date while it was Rs 95.75 on Tuesday. Diesel in Mumbai reached Rs 86.98 a litre after a 26 paise increase over Tuesday’s price.
