Petrol, diesel prices slashed, click here to see the prices Petrol and diesel prices saw a minor slash nationwide today. In Punjab's capital Chandigarh, petrol prices were slashed down by 16 paise. The petrol is being sold at Rs 73.26 while diesel prices is retailing at Rs 68.82 per litre. In the country's capital Delhi, petrol is priced at Rs 77.56 per litre against Rs 77.73 on Sunday while diesel is being sold at Rs 72.31 compared to Rs 72.46, on Sunday. In Mumbai, petrol rates saw a cutdown by 17 paise. The petrol is being sold at Rs 83.07 while diesel prices are Rs 75.76 per litre in Mumbai. In Chennai and Kolkata, petrol was sold at Rs 80.56 and Rs 79.49 respectively while diesel was retailing at Rs 76.43 and Rs 74.17 respectively.
