PM Modi greets the nation on 'Guru Ravidas Jayanti' : Prime Minister sent warm greetings to the people on the occasion of Guru Ravidas Jayanti. Taking on his twitter handle, PM has shared a couplet from Saint’s poetry.
"Guided by the rich ideals of Guru Ravidas Ji, we are working round the clock to build an India which is strong, inclusive and prosperous.where the fruits of development reach everybody and empower those who are poor," he Tweeted.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the Government is taking inspiration from the teaching of Guru Ravidas to build a strong, comprehensive and prosperous India, where every programme taken by the Centre reaches the poor.
Modi said that Guru Ravidas ji always worked for the positive changes and development in the society. The Guru always talked of human rights and questioned regression, he said.
