PM Modi reaches South Africa to attend 10th BRICS Summit Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached South Africa to attend 10th BRICS Summit in Johannesburg on Thursday. The Prime Minister landed at the Air Force base of Waterkloof on Wednesday. Narendra Modi first visited Rwanda on Monday apart from his five-day official tour. He did a one-on-one meeting and delegation level talks with President of the Republic of Rwanda, Paul Kagame. He also interacted with the Indian community there. Also, India and Rwanda signed eight agreements in an effort to bolster bilateral cooperation between the two countries. After that, he visited held delegation-level talks with President of Uganda, Yoweri Museveni. He said that India will continue to play a stable partner in the country's journey towards development. As part of his visit to South Africa, the Prime Minister is scheduled to meet South African President Cyril Ramaphosa. As per the sources, they are expected to sign a number of agreements and MoUs in the realm of defence, trade, culture, agriculture and dairy cooperation. -PTC News
