PM Narendra Modi arrives in Brasilia for the 11th BRICS Summit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Wednesday arrived in Brasilia for the 11th BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) Summit. Earlier, PM Modi said that the summit would focus on strengthening relations between five countries in the field of digital economy, science and technology, as well as building mechanisms for counter-terrorism cooperation. PM Modi, who will be in Brazil on November 13 and 14 to attend the 11th BRICS summit, said he would meet Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro to discuss ways of boosting bilateral strategic partnership. https://twitter.com/ANI/status/1194536738175086592 While departing, PM Modi said, "I look forward to exchanging views with BRICS leaders to strengthen intra-BRICS cooperation, specifically for the theme of the summit – Economic growth for an innovative future." According to PM Modi, Brazil and India share close bilateral relations, including in areas of defence, security, trade, agriculture, energy and space.
