Modi is good at distracting attention: Rahul Gandhi

Rahul Gandhi on Thursday reacted to PM Narendra Modi’s speech in Lok Sabha. He said that the biggest issue today is unemployment and jobs. “We asked PM many times, but he did not say a word on this,” Rahul Gandhi said. Talking about Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman’s Budget speech in Parliament, Congress leader said that “She gave a long speech but she also did not say a word on unemployment and jobs." Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi stated that “PM Modi's style was to distract the country from core issues. He talked of Congress, of Jawaharlal Nehru, of Pakistan, etc but not of core issues like jobs and unemployment. Rahul Gandhi’s remark came after PM Narendra Modi’s jibe at Rahul Gandhi’s ‘dande marenge’ remark. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday replied to the Motion of Thanks on the President’s Address. During his speech, PM Modi said, “I heard Congress leader saying that youth will hit Modi with sticks in six months. I have decided that I will increase my frequency of 'Surya Namaskar' so that my back becomes strong enough that it can bear the hit of so many sticks.” Afterwards, Rahul Gandhi made an an intervention in PM Modi’s speech in Lok Sabha. To this, PM Modi took a dig at Rahul Gandhi. He said, “I was speaking for last 30-40 minutes but it took this long for the current to reach there. There are many tube lights like this.“ https://www.ptcnews.tv/pm-narendra-modi-replies-president-address-lok-sabha-speech-mahatma-gandhi-en/ Slamming Congress, PM Modi said: “There have been topics of 'save constitution'. I agree, Congress should say this 100 times in a day. Maybe then they will realize their mistakes. Did you forget this slogan during emergency? When state Governments were dismissed? When cabinet resolutions were torn?” Targeting Shashi Tharoor, PM Modi stated that “Those who are talking about respect for the Constitution never implemented it in Jammu and Kashmir for so many decades. Shashi Tharoor ji, you have been the son-in-law of Jammu and Kashmir, you should have shown concern.” -PTC News
