Delhi Election Results 2020: PM Modi congratulates Arvind Kejriwal

Delhi Results 2020: Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday. Arvind Kejriwal returned to power with a huge mandate against Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Congress. PM Modi took to twitter and wrote: "Congratulations to AAP and Shri Arvind Kejriwal Ji for the victory in the Delhi Assembly Elections. Wishing them the very best in fulfilling the aspirations of the people of Delhi." Responding to PM Modi's tweet, Arvind Kejriwal wrote: "Thank you so much sir. I look forward to working closely with Centre to make our capital city into a truly world class city." Meanwhile, BJP President Amit Shah said in a tweet: "The BJP respects the mandate given by the people of Delhi. All the workers worked hard in this election and were engaged in elections for days and nights. Heartfelt greetings and thanks to all the workers." In another tweet, Nadda wrote: "Accepting this mandate, the BJP will play the role of constructive opposition and will prominently raise every issue related to the development of the state.
