Per drop more crop, says PM Modi at Global Potato Conclave 2020

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday addressed the Global Potato Conclave 2020 via video-conferencing in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. PM Modi said that "It's good that Potato Conclave is being held out of Delhi. It's being held in Gujarat and this is important because this is the leading state in India, as far as potato production is concerned." Adding, PM Modi said "Work on scientific and technological approach is being done for irrigation. Working on the mantra of 'per drop more crop', micro irrigation is being focussed upon." PM Modi said that "I have been told that the Global Potato Conclave has scientists from many countries of the world, thousands of peasant companions and other stakeholders.
