PM Modi in Chennai: Prime Minister Narendra Modi formally handed over the 'Made in India' Arjun Battle Tank (MK-1A) to the Indian Army in Chennai on Sunday. While giving 'Made in India' Arjun Battle Tank (MK-1A) to the Indian Army in Chennai, PM Narendra Modi accepted a salute by the state-of-the-art tank, indigenously designed, developed, and manufactured by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO)'s Combat Vehicles Research and Development Establishment. PM Modi said that one of the two defence corridors was in Tamil Nadu. "It has already received an investment commitment of over Rs 8100 cr," he said, adding that he was proud to dedicate to the nation the indigenously designed and manufactured Arjun Main Battle Tank (MK-1A). Talking about the two years of Pulwama terror attack, the Prime Minister said that "No Indian can forget this day."
