Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday leaves for Brazil to attend the 11th BRICS summit. BRICS is the acronym for an association of five major emerging national economies: Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa.
The 9th BRICS summit was hosted by China in Xiamen in September 2017, while South Africa hosted the most recent 10th BRICS summit on January 08, 2018.
PM Narendra Modi is going to meet Chinese President Xi Jinping on the sidelines of 11th BRICS Summit in Brazil tomorrow, November 13. Likewise, he will meet Russian President Vladimir Putin and President of Brazil, Jair Messias Bolsonaro, in Brasilia.
